Default On the road again

In order to maintain my employment statusI'm having to travel around the country filling in for contracts while I wait for an expansion of the contract my company has here in NM. Since April 07 I have been on the road for all but 3.5 months of that time. It is cutting deeply into my shooting time. Right now I'm in the Phoenix area for all of June, then I head for the Boston area for a big chunk of July and August (at least I won't be in Phoenix during the hot part of the summer). I had hopes of doing more testing of BH209 in a variety of guns but obviously that is not going to happen as quick as I had hoped. I may try to get in a range session on one of my visits back home but the honey do list continues to grow while I'm out of town so I'll have to see what I can beg off on. At least I can read about BP stuff here while I'm out and about, then again, that just makes me miss it more. Oh well, maybe on my next trip home.

BTW, anyone know where I can apply for that "Independently Wealthy" job?

I would not like a job like that where I had to travel all the time. I am such a stay at home kind of person. Although someone has to do it. Better you then me. So have fun in your travels, stay safe, take care of business at home, and shoot when you can....

I'm not crazy about all this traveling either. Up till last year I didn't have to travel much at all but as the local contracts started to change due to customers needs I had to decide if I wanted to be laid off or feed the kids. With the healthy appetites of my two teenagers I decided to travel till things settled out. I hope things get more stable by the end of this yearso I can stay in town more than I do now. If not, I may have to find another job or move to another location that has a stable contract. I guess I need to use the "shooting is my form of stress relief" argument when I'm at home so I can get in some range time.
