I bought FG's 45cal apex and picked it up today at the post office. itching to take it out to the range now. can't do anything with any of my guns until I get back at the end of the month to the first week of july. now I gotta get out and get some 45cal cleaning supplies and bullets.

my trigger finger is itch bad now.

oh yeah, I thought I say this. my wife already knew I was getting it. she does not like the stock but like how the open sights are.

Glad you like it. Whats the wifes beef with the stock? Its comfortable, sturdy and not that hollow stuff.

Sights are nice on it.

lol, I think she is a wood stock person. the lighting pattern made her think it was scratched up. [8D]
she did shoulder it.

I have a little problem with the scope which is not big (can't get off 3x, won't move an inch), I got an extra scope on hand and my a prostaff to replace it. did get an sling for it and changed out the rings.

lol its TIGHT. Im not sure why its like that but mount it on the rifle and you have to really give it some muscle. I'll clean out my PM. thanks for the heads up on that.

Buy higher rings?

yeah, weaver grand slams. which my get switched with the ones on my 30-06. taking the scope off it too
