Default packing powder for a trip

well, I have someone who will work on my new englander for free will I am in FL.
all I need to bring is the gun, screws (lost)[:@], powder, balls, and patches.

screws, I got an extra set somewhere around the house.
powder, my idea was to just buy some when I am down there. wife nex that idea.
same with the balls and take some I had made.

I think what you are asking is how to carry the powder. If traveling on a commercialairplane it is not legal; you would have to buy it after arriving. If traveling by car just pack it where it will not get too hot or crushed. Powder is quite stable in the original containers. Some think static electricity will set off real black powder but several tests have been done that pretty much eliminate that as much of a risk.

I believe the same is true for primers/caps!

Corey, where in Florida?
Anywhere close to up my way (Fort Walton Beach/Destin) and I can help out with the shooting supplies and you won't have tocarry that much, or buy new.

My little beach town is 45 miles east of Pensacola, up in the panhandle.
If you come near here, I'd like to meet ya!
I was sitting in my canoe with my fishing pole a thermos of coffee and a Partagas cigar watching the sun come up over Rocky Bayou about 2 weeks ago.

Too bad it's that far south, and on the East coast.. You won't be coming anywhere near here. I'm in what is sometimes referred to as the "Redneck Riviera".
