Default How cool is this?

Well, I been officially retired a whole two weeks and I get this call from work. Now, I told them, being the nice guy that I am that I will be more than happy to answer any questions but don't expect me to jump right in my truck a haul azz into to town. So I get this call, the guy that is suppose to take over my job is out of town and there is a problem with one of the machines in the building. OK, I have to go in and get my oil changed anyway so I swing by my old work place. They lied........real tricky people. One my last day there they had a reception for me with good food and cake, etc. They got me a $130 worth of Cabelas gift card, a new tackle box, filet knife, and few other fishing odds and ends. Today they have a brand new Nikon 2x7x32 Pro Staff and gave it to me. I guess that was another gift but the place they ordered it from had it on backorder forever and they reordered it from somewhere else. It's nice to be loved......

Nice people. They obviously didn't like you.

Sounds like they were glad to see you go and wanted to make sure you did not have to go back to work for them.

Retirement can get boring. I am having problems trying to figure out what I want to do each day. I just have too many things I can do.

Being retired is the best job I ever had...
