Default little update on me

I have not post much in the last 3 days because I have been moved to 3rd shift, so I been sleeping mostly though the day. I got my scope base for my new englander in and I gotta take it to an gunsmith to drill and tap it, that is what the little papers say. going to try to go to the range tomorrow, just depends on the weather.

cory, sounds like pawn shops I have in my area, they don't know what they have and they sale it cheap.
great find.

only thing I can get until july anything shooting wise, is sabots. (par my wife) so there is going to be a lot of shooting with 457 405gr homecast. I may be able to slip a couple bulks of bullets to shot with.

johnny, I like your toys. lol

Shooting on a budget? Patched balls / light charges - lots of fun and cheap, cheap, cheap.

As far as I have to go for a range session, If I don't shoot for 5 or 6 hours it's not worth the gas or driving time. Always take at least two guns and lots of fodder.

corey don't scope the new englander!! personally I don't like scopes on traditionals, but to each his own. I used to do shift work 3-11 one day 7-3 the next. I was a "floater" with no set shift. I don't miss that one bit.

I'm with you Semi, I drive over an hour to shoot and usually take 2-3 guns and plenty of powder and projectiles. Right now I have two, new to me, ml'ers that need shot and a new barrel. I'll be plenty busy at the range next time.
