Whats going on with my mold?

[:@] Darn .530 Lee mold just started acting up today. After about 30 balls, the pin holding one side of the mold fell right out. I let it cool, put in back in, got 2 balls and it fell out on me again! I only have about 400 balls on this mold.

I had to pull out the .490 mold and cast some of those to get something out of today.

Put the pin back in and ping theholewith a punch. Mine did that too it woks fine. Rin

I've got a couple that did that too. Now I peen the pins in when the molds are new, no more problems.

Ok i peening the pins. Holds tight now. Going to give them a try again once this wind calms down.
