Pyrodex vs. GOEX Cleanup.
Just got back from a three-day week end at the hunting lease - plowing food plots and brush cutting in the morning, and shooting in the afternoon. All in all, I shot 80 rounds out of the Renegade with Pyrodex RS and 30 rounds out of the Great Plains with GOEX FFFg (reports later). I have come to the conclusion that GOEX is a significantly cleaner shooting powder than Pyrodex. The different condition of the barrels of the two guns may have accounted for some difference in fouling - but I don't think it could have made THAT big a difference.I was wiping the bores with Windex/Vinegar. The patches came out very heavy black gunk with Pyrodex, and much lighter with GOEX. Anyone else experience this?

(1) It's not possible to please everyone, but quite easy to piss everyone off.
(2) If you love animals as I do, then you're not a vegetarian.
(3) There's no need to act stupid, even if you're very good at it.
(4) If you eat right and exercise, don't smoke or drink, you're going to die anyway.
