about 3 months ago the place I was working closed. little background

got an job. making $10 to start, trainee asst. manger at an 7-11

would not have matter I would have had an job by the end of the day. a friend of mine was going to call me and see if I wanted an job

job + money = more guns

7-11. but I did go see him. the one he had for me was a cooks job at $8

my wife got me the 7-11 job. I start tuesday. I have to cover all shifts grave yard is going to suck.

Pal, I worked the graveyard in my 30s, just after getting out of the Corps, because it was what was available.

Good for you Corey. One of my earliest jobs was Counter Ticket Agent for Eastern Airlines (anyone remember Eastern Air Lines?) as the lone agent on the Midnight to seven shift at New Orleans International Airport.

I hope they will give you a good raise after you become an asst mgr, that would be hard to raise a family on, especially with gas prices, hope it is close also. Best Wishes. Chap
