Default Going out again

About to take the GPR out for 5 shots at 71 yards and make sure everything is good on it.
Going to start off with 90g goex and then i'll take her inside, give the barrel a soapy bath and then take a break. I will then try 110g goex and see how she does then.

On second thought, I'll start off with 110g Already know how good it shoots with 90g!

Well good luck with your testing... that is a good strong load for anything you want to hunt..

A damn good shooting load to! I started off with TC prelubed .015 patches and 90g goex. My first 2 shots were low but they grouped awesome! Next two shots i packed the load down TIGHT and they went right where they should.

Swabbed the barrel on All shots.

Next up, 110g goex, .530 soft wheel weight round ball, crisco/murphys oil soap .018 pillow ticking. Theres a total of 3 shots in that hole, and i blew the second to last shot by pulling the trigger when i knew i was slightly holding to the right [&:]

Guys, I do believe the .54 GPR is a shooter!

71 yards off my cheap $20 walmart rest.

I am shooting to the left a few inches so now, my question: I do not want to knock my rear sight over due to me peening it very tightly. Do i tap the front sight over a little to the left to make it shoot farther to the right?

Man i am very happy with this last outing and as Semisane would say,. Stop grinning, you're blinding us!

My fingers are pointing to the 4 shots fired with 90g goex and the .015 tc prelubed patches.

A shooter for sure. Nice trigger work on your part.

That change in point of impact based on how much the powder is compressed is interesting. I haven't experimented with different compressions yet with my GP. Gotta do that. So far, I've been seating the ball to just where it touches the powder without any compression. It will be interesting to try different compressions over the chronograph.
