Just got back from a long and productive day shooting. I'll write up a full report tomorrow when I have time, but the short version is that after free-floating my barrel and glass-bedding the action with a do-it-yourself kit, my average 100 yard groups sizes went from 4-6" to 2-2.5"! I'm very happy about that. Thought I'd post a couple pics quick tonight.
This is my jury-rigged shooting setup with my huge bag-O-corn as a shooting rest.
Here's a few friends that decided to stand broadside looking at me from 75 yards (of course the season is long over
). I was out first thing sitting in the grasslands hoping to get a pot-shot at a coyote.
