Default 2 New Turkey Hunters

are in our midst. Finally all of the licensing and courses are done. Time to get down to putting the smackdown on some birds this spring and deer this fall. I can't wait to get them out there.

Amen. "Like Iron shapens iron, so one man sharpens another". Bless is your leadership, there is nothing sweeter except for maybe a daughter getting married to an excellent man.

Congratulations to them on their accomplishment. I wish them and you the best of luck this turkey season. Now is the time the real schooling begins as my father used to say... So good luck and enjoy their companionship in the field. All too often we see adults not willing to take the time to spend with our younger people. Good job..

Thanks guy's. I'm really proud of them.

I've got them shooting their Deerstalker flintlocks in anticipation of the Nov deer season.

Chapman, I'll do my very best to keep them properly orientated.

Hey Huntaway,
We gonna still have snow come turkey season? Do you have turkeys in Renfrew? I know I saw a flock around Huntsville last summer but there is no season there as the birds are not officially around according to the ministry.

We have them here, but we're heading down to Chatham for the opener.

Congratulations guys, I'm sure the old man will teach you right. I know us parents seem weird at times and embarass the heck out of our kids but you'll understand some day, but when it comes to hunting it's a serious game about you and nature that can't be taught. Be safe and good luck.

Great, I know you will, since that is your primary job.And I hope they love hunting/fishing and the great outdoors since that keeps them out of the evil that is all around us--like porn. I just set up a free AOL Parential Control on the Internet for a young married woman this afternoon."Train them up in the way they should go and when they are old, they will not depart from it". Best Wishes to you and them, especially with a flintlock. If they can shoot flintlock at their age, that is a huge thing, great training from you.
