Default am I on the right track on my new englander

I have thread locked my rear sights, found out the hard way, you have to put the wedge pin in the right way. thinking about taking my my new englander out with me when I take my USAK out this week and shot 3 to 5 PRB and see if it is closer.

Correct on the wedge pin, they go right to left as your holding the gun. I never knew that either until a friend pointed it out a couple of hunting seasons ago. I suspect that is why my stock stripped at where the wedge pin hole was, because I was putting my wedge pin in left to right, wrong way.

There is no really telling what a rifle will do.. while some people have great results, others do not. All you can do is keep trying different projectiles and see which one works. With the sight now fixed and solid, that should help a lot. If your rifle starts to spray, try swabbing the barrel with straight alcohol. Also start your testing at low powder charges like 60 or 70 grains and then work up from there. Also remember, some rifles like one brand of powder and hate another, so you might have to try different powders as well..
