I couldn't resist. heard all the good reports on the forum here and I went to the green mtn website and this barrel just jumped out and grabbed me by the credit card and wouldn't let go. $95 just can't be beat. Hurry up brown truck.

Well they are a good barrel. Mine shoots real good. Congratulations on the new barrel. I am tempted to get one for my PA Hunter as well. You can never have enough gun...

So far I'm impressed with mine. Haven't had the weather to really get on the bench and shoot over sandbags to see what the real accuracy potential is, but just shooting offhand it's been very good. The balance suprised me with that short of a barrel. Sure not muzzle heavy, but suprisingly stable when held offhand. I'd say with a little playing with loads & bullets it will be plenty accurate for hunting.

I think these are an EASY 100 yard rifle.. they seem perfect for walking around or up in a tree stand where room in limited... I am impressed with the rifle.

I replaced the rear fiber optic with a williams wrgs peep fit perfect no more blurry front sight should make a good 75yd open sight gun.

Looks like a lot of them are accounted for on this forum. At that price they were a real bargain.
I ended up with a good shooting, sweet handling T/C Hawken for under $200. and that rarely happens to me.
