Default The $175 Renegade Was $137.50

Well, the guy's ad said:

Quote:
Thompson Renegade.50 cal. Looking to get out of gun safe - $175. You never know make me a offer. No room left in safe. 504-4xx-xxxx.

So, I send him an e-mail last week asking for a picture, which he sends. It looks good.

Then, last Friday, I send him another e-mail saying, "Will you take$125 for that Renegade?"
He responds, "How about $150 and I'll drop it off at your house tomorrow?"
So, yesterday I go back with, "Lets split the difference with $137.50?"
He responds, "That'll work."
Got it today.

So, to quote Cayugad, I accidentally bought a gun today.

Yep, you stole it. Tell you what, since my gun is worth fifty cents more, I'll trade you even.

The bore has some very light pitting in the first 4 or 5 inches from the muzzle - nothing to get excited about. I pulled the nipple before I bought it and it was nice and clean under there.

Since I know nothing about these type of guns, why the double trigger? I've heard of "set triggers" before but I don't know what they are. Please elaborate.
