Last fall my yard was invaded with turkey. Everyone driving by was blowing the horns to scare them out of the road back onto my property. I also had a lot of people suddenly friendly with me and wondered if they could hunt... At one time I counted eighteen of them in the yards but this flock of seven were almost tame. I stepped out on the porch and took this with my old digital camera that has no zoom or nothing.

Once the snow melts, I sure hope they come back. Although I turkey hunt in the southern part of the state.

I haven't hunted turkeys there yet, prop. belongs to a buddy. Took my daughter out there last yr, had 4 toms right at 40yds. She said they were toofar! I was saying "shoot Rachael shoot, Theyr'r toofar dad!! It was her choice!! That was the last day of her hunt! Oh well, try again this yr!!
