Default new to forum

Het guys, I am sort of new to this forum, not really new to muzzleloading.been reading a lot lately and I allready bought a 21" geeen mountain barrel, a knight disc extreme with the stainless barrel and I picked up a TC Grey wolf at a gun show, never been fired for 130.00. Bargains are hard to resist, so it really isn't all my fault., I have a TC Encore, Renegade, and Omega. The 21" Green mountain barrel I want to put on a Hawken style Investarms that has a 1:48 twist on it now. I think it should drop right in, What do you guys think? We live in N E wisconsin so the snow kind of makes it hard to get out and shoot, but pretty soon. Really have the ITCH now !!!!!!!!!!

To make the Green Mountain Barrel drop into the Investarms stock you might have to take a file and trim the hook or the tang (your choice). You will find that the hooked breech is "just a little thick" to slide in there and lock up. Also you are going to have to take some of the thimble rib off. Other then that the rest is easy. They are a great shooting barrel.

It sounds like you have some excellent rifles there.. You should be all set. Welcome to the forum.

Exactly what I had to do with my deerstalker.

Welcome and enjoy all the great advice here. I also had to file a little of a GM barrel to get it on my deerstalker

Welcome, with that lineup, you will fit right in. I have the 21" GM barrel also. I have not cleaned or shot it yet. Waiting till I do all my Savage shooting, cause it likes cold days. FL shooting doesn't matter if it is warm hot or cold, since I am only shooting 50 to 70 yards.

Hello and welcome dphobby. You're right about those bargains. I'm about to get into trouble with the chairwoman of the board over one.

GOOD MORNING, Thanx so much for the warm welcome, If I remember right some one was looking for a scope mount for the green mountain barrel. I know what you are looking for, I have one on my renegade with the weaver slots that I found on E-Bay. I also have one which requires the TC adapter and I think the duo QR mounts but all I have is the base. I will keep checking on e-bay for one of the weaver ones. Have to go do chores now. Thanx again !!!
