Default Suzie needed a shootin

So out she came with me this afternoon. One of my young fella's wanted to come so Ibagged up the Marlin .22 as well.

So here's the setup. TC Renegade .50 cal (Suzie), 90 gr 3F Goex, CCI No 11 Primers (very old), 240 gr Buffalo Ballets and 240 gr .452 dia Hornady XTP Mag w/ Hornady High Pressure Black Sabot (I think that's what the are (sabots)), range 35 yds, shooting sticks sitting in my favourite folding lawn chair, Temperature 32'f, winds calm, mostly sunny.

Shots 1 & 2 are the ballets. Not too impressed with their grouping so I switched over to the XTP's.
Shot 3 is my first shot with the XTP's, so I adjusted my point of aim to block out most of the black and just leaving a thin strip on top of my sight.
Shots 4-9 were for effect.
Shot 10 was Junior shooting at the wrong target. lol

So can someone tell me why I have let this rifle collect dust for so long???[&:]

I'm sorry Suzie. I won't do that again.

Here's Johnny's target when he wasn't shooting at mine. lol
The wild ones are freehand standing and the big hole is sitting using my sticks while I was reloading.

That is some real fine shooting there... it looks like that Renegade is a meat rifle as well as a target rifle... nice shooting. And the same to the boy. Even though he did shoot the wrong target. Young people like to do that.. It makes them smile. And there is nothing wrong with a good smile..

HuntAway

Dag Nab! that is some good shooten... You are just lucky that Suzie did not come out with an "attitude" after being left in a dak place for so long... She decided it was OK for you to shoot wellor maybe she was a tryen to "impress" ya.. .which for me she certainly impressed me...

Jr. on the wrong target? do not let it bother you... one day you and Jr. are goin to be a hunten and you are are going to take to long to acquire the deer in yer sights and Jr. is goin to do da job befor ya git ya first shot off.... been dare done dat one.... but I promise he will smile at cha right afterwards...

nice shooten da 2 of yas!!!!

Nope she didn't hold any grudges. Got like a girl like that.

The day they out draw me on a critter will be great day. I'm looking forward to it! Then I'll be able to sit back in camp drinking tea and having naps while the youngsters git er done!
