ok i went to gander mountain i will not give you the entire story since i posted it already
but a guy there said they quit making triumphs due to issues with the speed breech plug and the gun being a old model and out dated
and not to buy one

is this true from what i found i thought it was a new model with no proplems

Not making the Triumph? News to me. I also have not heard of any problems with the new breech plug design. BUT who knows...

Nahh, that's bull doo doo... TC would never put a muzzleloader on the market that they did not test the pants off of. TC sets the standard for quality!

I handled the Triump last fall. I admit I had problems with putting the speed breach back in. I couldn't get it lined up right and when I thought I had it right I couldn't close the action. I'm looking at buying a new MZ this spring/summer and the Triumph, Savage 10ML, and the Knight KRB was on my short list. Right now I'm leaning toward the KRB. I haven't found any place that has it so I can shoulder it and see how it feels. Gonna head over to Sportsman Warehouse in Indiana in the next few weeks and see if they have one I can look at.
