Default Pyrodex Select vs. Pyrodex RS

I might just get some Pyrodex this time so I dont have to order black powder. I have been shooting Select and I like it. I dont shoot enought to have to worry about money.

So, doese anyone notice a difference in RS vs. Select? I would not mind buying Select but is it worth it? Any difference in velocity is one of my concerns.

I've shot them both out of my Mustang and New Englander. Can't really say I see a difference.

I've shot both of them and never saw a real difference other then in the price.

Have used them both. IMO: There is no advantage at all to Pyrodex Select. Some friends say that the velocity is the same.

with Select, the groups in my fathers cabelas hawken tighten up greatly. Usually 1 1/2" 3 shot groups @ 58 yards. With select i can put 2 bullets in a hole and the 1 just normally 1/2" away.
