I got another ML,a Optima Pro thumbhole nickle on Clearance at Gander Mountain with Berrgara barrel and claw sling for $220 , put a Mueller 4.5-14APV for $115 and your under your amount. I shot it a little today some bullets shot under 1-2". The Barnes 290TMZ with 135 gr ff shot under 1" goups @ 82 Yards. Shop around -there are some deals right now.

I would look at a Knight KRB7 in blue. Throw a scope on that and you have all the rifle you would ever need for that kind of money. If you went to a stainless, you would still be under the $350.00 but the scope might run you over your budget...

That is a good deal for a scoped ML. If the Barnes TMZ is shooting that well for you, then this would be a very deadly combo to about 175 yards I would say, and at an excellent price. I don't think you could do better with a Knight, TC or Savage. Chap Gleason

I am with Dave on this Look very hard at the knight Krb they are so very easy to clean and a super shooter also .
But there are alot of good guns out there now don't be in a hurry take your time and find the one that really jumps out at you.
