Default doing my New Englanders stock again

weather is keeping me from casting, can't get to the range for a few weeks. I figured I take my time and work on my new englander again. stripped the stock. I got the first coat of finish on it. I like to do something with the metal don't know what.

Paint it pink with some of that nail polish you bought.

Well, I do remember cayugad suggesting you use nail polish to lock the threads on a sight adjustment screw, and since you said your wife didn't use nail polish, I figured you probably bought some. If you didn't, you were probablythinkingabout gander's warning not to let your wife catch you with it.

she knows about the gun. and she has nail polish, funny I did not know she had any. so I can see her tell me more stain then more urethane to the stock lol.

if I deside to brown the metal what do I need to do.
I know I need to remove blue.

well, I got a good bit of the stock done. my wife took a look at it. she liked it with the light stain then I have on it now. go figure,

I still want to do something with the barrel, but with my current status, it may just get reblued because I already have blue. I want the weather to clear to get out and do a little shooting.
