I just got home, I bought a 50 cal new englander. it was the same one I was talking about. they gave me a deal on it do I got it. got a little work to do but the barrel is not as bad as I tought it was

Better make an order for Two bulk 50 packs of powerbelts. If that .50 NE is anything like the renegade i had, it should shoot them great.

I want before and after pics of that NE when ypu strip the stock down and restain. You know where to put that subject

how did ya know I was going to do that to this stock, it needs it bad.3 holes where they tried to mount a sling.

Some wood puddy should take care of that. Maybe mix a little stain in with it to help it blend.
Looks like it has quite a bit of nice wood grain on the rear stock part.

found my bore light, it is pitted, but it looks about like my knight usak's pitting.

If its not to bad, Just send it to TC and they should warrant it. Probably no where near like the barrel on my NE i had.

Great find. Sometimes patience pays off. Have I told you how long my wife held out for me? Not long and they said it will never last. That was 51 years ago.

Looks like it's seen some neglect & abuse, but it may decide to perform for it's new owner.

I'd clean it up and see how it shoots!
