well got out, about 50 degrees here. learned 3 major things.
first don't do 100 yrds when you have not shot in over a month and don't do it if you have not done it much anyway [&:]. still 19 out of 20 hit the targets (the one was fully my fuilt).
second powerbelts can shot well out of a knight. (tied with a bullet I was hoping that would do while).
my gun don't like 110gr of pyrodex p.
shot today:
5 230 gr surefire at 50yrds to check the scope (85gr of pyrodex p)
3 225 gr saboted boattailed hollowpoint (110gr of pyrodex p)
all with 85 gr pyrodex p
5 .430 240 xtp/green mmp sabot
5 cheap shots
5 250 shockwave
5 245 powerbelt
the best 2 that grouped for me at 100 yrds TODAY where the cheap shots and the powerbelt.
I got some pics up later

I was planning on going to the range tomorrow until I remembered that Tues is police day. I guess it will have to wait until next week. Rough being retired and still having to schedule your days. But I will take the boat out and go deep for some Crappies.

If you were close enough you sure could. The wife does not like me going by myself but she has learned to live with it. I do have to wear an inflatable PFD since I promised I would. No problem though.

I don't know how this are going to look, but I am going to give it a try
I put them in backwords. so 11-15 are 245 powerbelts and 16-20 are 250 shockwaves
1-4 .430 240xtp w/mmp green sabots and 6-10 240 cheapshot. 5 I loaded backwards and only went 25 yrds. I found the bullet

Hey, what'd you do, Put the bullets in a sling shot and shoot the target?[8D]
11,12,13 are good. 14 and 15 seems odd, but it has been a while since you last shot so, practice makes perfect. Swab between shots or no?
yeah, but there was one thing missing from what I normaly do. I did not take a smoke break. I am allowed to have a bad day. hell my 50 yrd scope check was right on the money.
this was also the first range session after quitting smoking.

Next time out with the powerbelts, Dont swab. Take 3 shots and check the target. And you didnt stop smoking, You're shooting a black powder muzzle loader!
