It works real good. It does remove solvent well. I use it all the time when I want to just swab out a barrel.

When I run low on the patches I just drop in some more in and add a little fluid, great for the bore and wipeing the gunk off the outside too. Smells like window cleaner but I have not tried it on glass, yet.

Window cleaner does the swabbing job just as well & dries the bore faster. Isoprophyl rubbingalcohol works even better. I prefer a 50-50 mix of both - in a small car scent-type spray bottle. Both arevery inexpensive to use.
