You can got to Wal-mart or any drug store and get "finger cots" or what I use a comercial product called "muzzle mitts." They are more expensive than the finger cots but are also a little thicker and hold up better...

But, a lot of people use the simple old black tape...

I bought a bag of cheap balloons at a dollar store. Put one over the muzzle - voila! (Just be careful of the front sight when putting it on - it can rip it).
I keep a few balloons in my fanny pack. Never know when it's going to start raining/snowing while I'm out there.

jaybe,To make it a bit quicker and easier snip the end off the ballon and carry a couple rubber bands it is much quicker and less frustrating. Lee

finger cots here.. get the extra large size if they have them. Or like said, the front site will destroy them if it gets a chance.

Suran wrap and a rubber band. Tear a short pieace off and double it over the muzzle and rubber band it.
Can even use it over the action if you worry about watter entering it there.

Electrical tape for me as well. I've tried the saran wrap thing but it didn't stand up as well. Put a piece of tape over the end and you're good to go.
