Default Sharps / .45-70 ???'s

Would you consider the Sharps, or Sprinfield model 1873, or any of the "trapdoor" rifles a blackpowder rifle?
It uses a cartridge after all.

Well the forum is titled" Black powder " not M/L so if your shooting Black or BPCR yes . Yes I think it would be ok . Might be more talkitive in reloading .

Yes. These rifles are a progression from Front stuffer to cartridge rifle. Many of the front stuffer's were converted to these early cartridge rifles. They are all time period rifles. Tom.

What make rifle is that and what caliber is it....I have a 45-70
and a 50-70 love'em both man...
