Default nosler bullets rock in my omega

took my new 260gr partition hg bullets with havester sabots100 gr t-7 loose t-7 primersto the range tuesday. was very impresed i could hold dead on from 0-150 and could keep all shots from those distances in a 4 inch circle. then i went out to the dreaded 200 yard target (that is where all my other bullets had failed) and was shocked when i used the bottom dot on my lrd reticle (approx 8 inch holdover) and put two shots one 2 and the second 3 inches left of the bull on an 8 inch shoot n see..I SMELL A KEEPER... now i cant wait to lay the smck down on an ol slickhead in our late season doe hunt comin up in january.......

I get excellant accuracy with the 300 gr NP HG PP, 110 2f T7, w/ 209 win primer. Under and inch @ 100 and a 6" group @ 200.Plenty of energy @ 200 to lay the smack down on moose elk or deer. I'm zero'd @ 153 yds for a point blank range of 200. (6" kill zone)

I sighted in my dads omega early this fall with 300gr nosler. He taged a nice bear and buck with them. The bullet worked great and shot verry accurate. I wil be trying them myself next year. GOOD LUCK IN LATE SEASON.

I used the Nosler 260 grain in my Knight Disc with a Winchester primer and 120 grain of Pyrodex RS and the accuracy was exceptional. I only shot them to 100 yards, but with the accuracy they displayed, there would have been nothing that would have been safe...

Good luck late season. I will be waiting for a report of first hand experience on how the Nosler worked on a doe.

That is a good bullet and load for deer and you got the 200 yard down that is excellent. This bullet came out of a buck I shot last year with the Nosler, lengthwise thru the brisket, however it was a 300g since I feel they go thru deer better and have better BC and penetration. It went all the way thru the deer to the off is side hind quarter, almost 4 foot of deer. Awsome bullet. Chap Gleason
