MLKeith and anybody else who owns a KRB7 what sabot combination has been working good for you? I know it shoots conicals well but I already own three whites so I dont really need another conical shooter. I'm really interested in knowing if it will shoot the xtp's or the gold dots. If anybody has any insight please resopond. Thanks bdeather.

I have virtually the same barrel in the GM-LRH and I will tell that it shoots sabots darn good... Gotta use HPH-24 sabots as it is a tight bore....

My GMB LRH Stainless steel is also a fantastic sabot shooter. And do not be scared to put the powder to it. I shoot 120 grains with the .430 grain 300 grain XTP in a Harvester Crushed Rib sabot combination. Very accurate load.

Those Whites WILL shoots sabots quite well also. Not trying to talk you out of a KRB7, just reminding you.

Sorry I can't add anything just yet. I have not had much time with the KRB as I had huge orders to get out before the Christmas trip to Oregon to see the youngest and his family. Had 90 gallons of firearm grease to mix and deliver and also 1500 bottles of bicycle lubricant to fill and ship before leaving. I plan on shooting both the KRB and the new U-mag when I get caught up in middle of January. Since I did not get drawn for anything this year I did not push the shooting schedule. My little "part time" business is cutting into my play time.

Mine likes a 250 gr. Barnes expander on top of 110 gr. of FFF Triple seven. I haven't tried any of the xtp's or gold dots.
