It's not available yet; all that is being produced is going to making pellet/bullet combinations which have not hit the market yet either. Loose powder will be available this year sometime. I am on the notification list for it when it is released. I will post when I receive it.

http://magkor.com/buyme.html

notice it refers you to MDM, where the hyped up combos that Mossie mentioned are to be made. They almost got it just right, then shutdown production.

Well; it all seemed to good to be true. I have heard that it was some pretty good powder. It was suppossed to work in a flinter as well.

Another thing I just found out is that Green Mountain is not producing anymore fast twist barrels for the side locks. I guess when they are gone there gone. I was looking for one to put on my TC PA Hunter. Can't find any in 15/16"; there are some left in 1" though.

Black Mag'3 (Magkor is the company) keeps saying that they are going to have powder sometime in 2008. I am becoming more interested in the new Blackhorn 209 powder which is coming on the market after the shot show in February. I was a big supporter of BM3 for a long time as the powder works great in my Omega, however the lack of distribution and the decision to make the solid propellant attached to a bullet from MDM leaves me a little unimpressed. I have told the CEO of Magkor that the idea stinks but it is his baby and he will not listen. None of the synthetics including Black Mag'3 will work ina flintlock. It just is too hard to ignite those powders. BM3 is one of the easier ones to ignite but still not reliable enough for a flintlock. I picked up a couple of White rifles and they will shoot anything well so I can retire my Omega since it is a bear to find a powder and bullet combination that will allow any second shots without a lot of effort between. The Whites just keep shooting as long as you drop powder and bullets down the barrel. My new Knight rolling block seems to be a little more forgiving in the powder selection area also. The Omega shoots great when you finally find a powder and bullet that will work but it is a lot of effort to get there.
