Default New Scope Success

Well I put a NIKON Buckmaster 3x9x40 on my Optima 50cal. I shot it at 95 steps and put my second bullet into the first ones hole, then the third was about 3/4 of an inch high/left, but all were in the bulls eye. For me that would be a long shot int places where I hunt. However the next time I shoot will be when I know if I am pleased with this scope. I could get my Tasco to shoot like that but it wouldnt stay on, so the next time I shoot I will know ifthe nikonstays on or not..

You have a quality piece of optics there. I do not think it will disappoint you. If it does, be sure to tell Nikon and they will fix that right away. Great scope and great company. Nice shooting there.. makes you feel kind of good, don't it.

I put one of these on my Ruger .270 and it is a great scope for the money. Alway on zero and crystal clear.

I have several Nikon Monarks and a bunch of Leupold scopes. They have served me well over the last 40 years. My bro in law thinks if a scope doesn't cost over $500 it is not worth owning. I cannot for the life of me see much differense in our scopes at dusk or any other time. He trades at a very good well stocked sporting goods store. They have one guy in guns that my bro in law believes everything he says. The guy works on commision. Duh!!!
