Default JSG/Powerbelts Success

Well like it or not, the JSG and a 295 grain Powerbelt got me my first muzzleloader animal. I killed a LARGE chocolate fallow deer with one well placed shot through the lungs at approx. 85 yards. He went about ten yards and fell. Bullet passed through and I was not able to retrieve it to look at it. I'm probably going to try a different powder just for fun but I was pleased with the results from the JSG. (Like him or not)

congratulations on the deer.. it would be cool if you posted a picture of the animal. I have only seen them in articles and never in hunter real life.. congratulations again.

I love JSG... all things considered it's the best powder out there for me. My load is three JSG Sticks and a 300 grain Nosler.
