Default Lesson In Ricochet Possibilities

It's not black powder, but here's a good lesson in what can happen when shooting at a piece of steel. This is a video of aguyshooting a .50 BMG at a steel target. The bullet bounces back, skips off the ground in front of him, then knocks off his ear muffs. Scary! Don't shoot at hard targets unless they are properly angled backstops.

Hopefully that guy did 2 things afteward, first off thanked God He spared his life, then drove to the gas station and bought a lottery ticket!

Amazing... think of the odds of that happening. He's lucky. That thing had some steam on it. If it would have hit him in the fore head could have been a whole different video.

I shot alot of bowling pin matches(years ago). Safety glasses were mandatory. I took a couple of hits to the glasses, face, and chest. I put a couple of knots on my forehead. But it was still alot of fun. Tom.
