Default new scope, late day range session, and part 2 sabot/conical test

well with all that I have happen in the last 3 days it is good to see something went right. had to put a new scope on my ML. lets put it this why I take anything that came close.

85gr of pyrodex p/240gr .430 xtp

I went on and did my second part of my conical with sabot test

the small hole where my sighting of my scope 230gr/ surefire, 85 grs of pyrodex p. the larger holes where 285gr great plans, 70 grs of pyrodex p. the first test the bullets where all over the place (80grs) . I got them to line up this time.
my next test I may drop them another 5 grs.

good news off this test. I recovered a sabot and an extra bonus, a bullet.

note: I normally can't recover bullet from the range.

How many yards was this? Also be a good idea to check your target after each shot and mark them #1,#2, You get the idea

Not hard to spot where the Great Plains conicals hit.
Were they 385 grain .50's?

only 50 yrds, by the time I got back out there I only had about an hour till dark.

I would of but my wife stole my marker. on the bottem target I can remember the great plans test shots, I was keeping better taps on those.

285gr .45 out of a sabot better then the first test I did on them.

I have to correct something:
