Default Maxi HunterBullet??

Is the Lyman maxi hunter a good choice for the
50 cal. I found a mold at a darn good price..
I have read where they are a accurate bullet.
But thought I would see what some of you
guys think about them..Thanks

some rifles shoot them well other rifles not well at all. If the mold is cheap.. buy it.

I'd have to agree - if the price is right go ahead and give it a try.

My .50 (slow twist) shoots regulart 370-grain Maxi-balls quite well, but won't shoot the Maxi-Hunters worth two hoots. The Maxi-Hunter looks like it would be a good deer bullet. The regular maxi-Balls are good bullets for elk, moose, and other game that requires deeppenetration. They don't expand well.

I bought some at Wal-mart real cheap. I was thinking they would shoot in something I own. I can't get them to shoot well in any of my rifles. They look like a fine bullet but looks can be deceiving.
