Heaviest sabot out of a Hawkens
My buddy has a CVA Hawkens, and would like to know the heaviestpowerbelt that you can shoot from this. His is a 50 cal.

See the Instruction Manual for CVA Sidelocks at:
http://www.stevespages.com/pdf/cva_sidelock.pdf
It lists a 400 grain conical or a 300 grain saboted bullet as maximum.

He can use a 405 grain powerbelt with maybe 70 grains powder. I wouldnt want to be the one holding it though
Especially with that brass buttplate. I'd suggest a 300 grain Platinum powerbelt over 80 grains pyrodex.
