Gotta love'em! 2 shots with 60 grains pyrodex p and the .490 homecast ball, Little over an inch low of aiming point. Next two shots, 70 grains pyrodex p. Dead on where i want it to hit @ 50 yards but to far to the left. I slightly tapped the rear sight to the right and hopefully that should do it. The crisco/murphys oil soap patch lube really cut through the fouling and left the bore shiney and clean. I also switched out the rear sight the other day to one one that was on my dads cabelas hawken and i really like it. I may file the front sight to make it slimmer. Its kind of thick and will make longer distance shooting harder. I havent shot this rifle much, but when i did, i got decent groups and they were nothing to brag about. Now its different! This thing is a really good shooter once i found the right load. Top hole to the left is from my .45. Old shot.
