Well, the Barnes 290 gr TMZ did its job again. I shot a buck from 40 yds away and BOOM FLOP. It put a hole through the heart and took out thelungs with an exit hole of a little over an inch. No tracking involved.
That is all a person could ask for. Congratulations on the deer.

Cool! I bought a Knight Disc Elite this summer and had it sighted in with these in the EZ load sabots... but later sold the Elite to fund a Pro-Hunter. I knew that bullet would be a killer... congrats!!

Don't have any pics., it was just a fork horn with about 9 inch long horns. Ate the tenderloin and it was so tender it nearly fell apart. This is the third deer I have taken with TMZs and had two BANG FlOPS and one ran about 20 yds.
