I never used a circle X scope but I have used the Bushnell Banner scopes. Planet Optics has some excellent prices on them. I see no reason why they would not work real well.

I put one on my daughters 20guage NEF single shot. If i needed another scope I would buy another. Her's is the 4x. I know its not a mz, but it is a bright, clear scope. It is also a good shooter!

I have one on my Omega and another on my 7400. I like the way your eye is drawn to the centre of the scope almost like a peep sight with glass. They are a very fast acquisition sight. I like them for fast in close shooting. I find they are a little obtrusive for longer range stuff (past 100), a normal reticle would serve you better if long range work is your game. Out to a 100 though they are great.
