Sighting in my Apex
Well, I finally got the Apex sighted in the other day. After talking to a lot of you and a few gun shop owners she is sighted in. After firing close to or over 300 rounds threw this beast she is hitting a little more than 1 inch group at a hundred. I ended up starting over from scratch by lock tighting the base down tight, buying rings that CVA and Bass Pro Shop recommended, and topping it off with a new scope the OMEGA! I bore sighted it, took it out, and got her dialed in. Like I said 1 inch group at 100 yards and a 4 inch group at 250. I ended up using 90 grains of Pryodex Select and 200 grain Shockwaves. It took a ton of time and money but I am ready for season. I still plan on going out and shooting another round to double check everything but I believe I am happy now.
