Default CVA Opima Magnum ?

OK guys, I have a CVA Optima Magnum 209 primer inline muzzleloader. Does any one know if there is and what size socket fits the breech plug?
Thanks
Joe

Joe, whoever you got the CVA from should have given you a breech plug wrench with it. It is a two piece wrench; one part approximately 6 inches long which fits on the plug and another piece approximately 6 inches long which is just a solid rod to use for leverage to break it open. If all else fails you can go to CVA's website and order a replacement wrench set.

I think the Optimas and Wolfs both use the same breech plug. My Wolf takes a 12mm.

This is my sons gun, he got it last Feb. at Harrisburg Pa. Outdoor show, it did not come with the breech plug wrench, but it is a 12mm, I had the 12mm socket on thinking it was to big but it was actually turning the breech plug, thats how loose it was.[/align]
