Default Those darn Mtn rifles!

Ive had enough of waiting and screwing around for someone to either email me back or get the GPR's in stock.

Soooo, I found a great looking .45cal CVA Mountain Rifle Percussion. The best thing about it..... Curly Maple stock!!
Im going to give CVA a call tomorrow and see how much it will cost me for them to convert it over to a flintlock. Looks like the lock iwll only cost me $65.

With a Curly Maple stock, this rifle is to good to pass up.

WAIT! Scratch that. I got a Lyman GPR .54 flintlock Kit And to think that i almost put a bid down on the mtn rifle! Still just might! lol.

[:'(] peeps? No thanks! Im still a Young'n and can see the blade sights fine lol. Now to decide what finish i will do. Thats always the hardest.

OHh yes. Young eyes...... I remember when..... what was I going to say. LOL

I think a nice deep, rich, walnut would be nice.

lol camo.

I think in going to use a dark Nut brown oil stain and finish it off with boiled lin seed oil Now that i know how to apply it correctly. LMF browned barrel and possibly the trim. Dont exactly know untill i get her in.
