Default CVA question

Bought a new CVA break-action last winter. They say in the manual to fire a primer just to make sure no solvent or moisture are in the plug. Then says never dry fire. Dry fire is when you pu in powered but no bullet right?

Default RE: CVA question

Dry firing is when you pull the hammer back and then pull the trigger without a primer in the breech plug.

Correct. You are fine firing with a primer.
