I'm getting my TC 54 Cal out of the gun cabinet to hunt with next month.
I haven't shot it in 5 years and haven't kept up withthe newest technology with ammo or powder.
Can I get some suggestions on what I might want to shoot thru it?
90 grains of Pyrodex RS and a patched roundball is the first thing I would try out of it. Make sure you give the rifle a good cleaning first.

The 300 grain REAL with 80 grains of Goex 2f shoot excellent out of my Renegade 54. They really do a number on a deer too.
