Default Remington Genesis...goods and bads

Well...I want a muzzle loader and my buddy has a Remington Genesis.He wants 350 w/scope.I think this is a good deal.

Is it?

Whats good and bad about the gun

You really should PM underclocked he did buy one and did some modifing on the gun - especially the trigger. He will give you the straight scoop.

Personally - i would pass on that offereing there are much better offerings out there. The Omega Z5 is readily available and IMO a much better offering for less money...

Yep, pass it. You can do better for the money (unless that's a high quality, expensive scope). Trigger mechanism resembles a cap gun. With enough tweaking the trigger can be made decent but that voids the warranty. If you are going to buy a Genesis, you might as well save some money and buy a Traditions Yukon as that's where you'll get any parts from anyway.
