Default I am excited!

I found a brand new in box Knight disc elite .50with SS barrel and bought it! I just wanted share because I am stoked right now! I cant wait till it gets here. I sure hope once I work up a load for it that its as accurate as I have been hearing! Anybody here have one and want to share there experiance with it and also your pet loads?

I am going to try 2 T7 pellets and a 245grain barnes SBT and also the 240 grain dead center then go from there. I may get some loose powder and tinker a bit. My goal is under 1" MOA at 100 yards and 2" or under at 200 yards.

Well you sure bought a rifle that is known for accuracy and reliability. I think you will like the Disc Rifle. I have a Disc that I do not shoot very often. It is one of them rifles that you take out to the range and it punches holes in the bulls eye, and then you clean it and put it back in the rack. Which is what you want the rifle to do.Right? My traditional rifles on the other hand, will often times have little fits and they can be more of a challenge. I think that is what drew me into flintlocks actually. I just love to shoot.

Good luck, and I will be watching for your range report.

That is really sharp looking. I have a Disc rifle and it is a good shooter. Knight will tell you, two pellets and a Knight RED HOT and it should shoot real well. You can also try some Shockwaves or Saber Tooth conicals is you like to throw big lead.

The Knight Red Hots are the Barnes MZ, which is an excellent bullet as is the Harvester SabreTooth, much stronger than a PowerBelt: http://www.harvesterbullets.com/sabertooth.htm

My broter got a 9pt large bodied buck this past Tuesday with the SaberTooth, it performed very well.
