Default T/C Blackdiamond

Its getting down to crunch time and iam having a hard time getting a decent load for my Muzzleloader? anyone shooting a Blackdiamond?

What loads have you tried? What kind of groups at what range? Give us a starting point.

100 grains of Pyrodex RS and a 250 grain Shockwave shoot real good in my Black Diamond XR. Be sure to swab the barrel between shots. Sometimes I push the Shockwaves up to 110 grains of powder, but with 100 grains the accuracy will be very acceptable.

90 grains of Pyrodex RS and a 240 grain XTP is another good load.

I have had my best results with 90 grains of triple 7, 240 grain hornady XTP,Open sights 4"groupes @100 yards? But iam buying a scope, and will need more help? ( I dont have a digitalcamera to show you)

A word of advise about the scope.. put the scope in some Warne QD rings.. It then can come off the rifle for easy cleaning of the rifle and the scope. Your Black Diamond will really fowl the bottom of the scope and the rings, and it is much easier to clean all that fowling off, when you have the scope removed from the rifle.

iI'd upgrade the sights to Truglo sights. Those sights are amazing.

It has true Glow already! And yes they are the brightest sight going!
