I took my White 50 cal Ultramag out and sighted it in today. I have it shooting 2" high at 100 yards. The load I am using is 90 grains of Triple 7 triple f and a 250 grain Barnes bullet. What surprised me is when I moved out to 200 yards the bullet dropped about 30", does that sound right?

Are you saying you don't believe your own eyes? If it dropped 30" then it dropped 30". Did you shoot a group to verify that it wasn't just a flyer?
Remember, published velocities are often exaggerated, as are BC's for ML bullets (not that's it's particularly uncommon for other bullets, either![:@]).
That's why one should NEVER sight in based on a ballistics chart and assume that just because the bullet hits at a certain point at a certain range it will follow the chart for all other ranges. If you plan to shoot at a particular range, you should verify your point of impact at that range.
Ballistic charts, even with good MV and BC data, are just a reference for a starting point, but cannot substitute for range time as you've witnessed for yourself.
Good Luck,
Mike
