CVA MOUNTAIN STALKER
I own a CVA mountain stalker and I am having the WORST trouble with the percussion caps not going off. No matter how perfectly the cap is placed, it is still a toss up whether or not it will fire. Any recommendations on a certain type of percussion cap? Or do I need to get the hammer adjusted so that it strikes it with more force? HELP!!!

RE: CVA MOUNTAIN STALKER
My CVA Mountain Stalker was the same way. I changed to a stainless steel nipple and used Goex powder. It fixed the problems. 90 grains and a patched roundball and you got a good accurate rifle there.
