Default first range report

I got to finaly got to go out and shoot my ml. I was shooting 75 and 80 grs of pyrodex p and 2 pellets (100 grs), 8 xpts with mag express sabots, and musket cap, I was not looking for groups. my only reason for shooting was to sight in my scope, so I was only shooting 25 and 50 yds, and was not looking for groups. sometime next week I am hoping to get out and shoot at 50 to check and 100 yds for groups.I in arguement with my bother n law and his son about sabots and powerbelts. they are saying that sabots foul the barrel more, I say the foul is about the same.

if some has the link for the site up load pics I would like to have.

I went back out, bought a better rest finished the site in and moved back to 75 yrds with powerbelts with 90grs of pyrodex p scope with a tasco 3-9X50 that I had on my savage 110 30-06 to see how I do. 3in group, I blame myself, I was tired, took the scope to the head, and got in a hurry. I am going back out later and try to tighing it up, going do drop it to 85 grs, 90 scares me,

Eye relief on scopes is very improtant with muzzleloaders as you might be aware. It sounds like you had a lot of fun and did some pretty good shooting to boot.

added blood and ass chewing from my wife about getting hit by the scope.

I forgot to add this pic when I posted yesterday. the hole to the right of the bulls eye was a powerbelt (sorry forgot the wight) with 2 50 gr pellets, the hole above the bulls eye was a xpt with a mag express sabot with 90 grs for pyrodex p. my scope did not want to goto the left until I had for loads left.
