Default Ramrod

Guys, I know this is a stupid question but the ramrod that came with my CVA Optima pro has an extention that srews in and out of the end. I hate this thing. It has a cleaning jag on the end of it that can be screwed down ONLY half way so that there are enough threads exposed on the shaft to collapse the extention back into the rod after loading. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me. Thanks in advance for the help.

Default RE: Ramrod

Bigtimer, I'm sure nearly everyone that has an extension rod would prefer something else but the Optima actually has one of the better of that type. Buy yourself a good range rod and only use the extension rod for reloading while hunting.
